Growing up with two brothers born in the 90s- I heard plenty of grunge and rock music when I was young. We had stacks of CDs and drawers overflowing with tattered band tees and distressed jeans. Grunge music and style are nostalgic for me for these reasons, so I was ecstatic to explore and research this form of fashion for my Be Adventurous series. Hand-in-hand with the music genre, the grunge style is one of my favourites to look at on others- but have never really tried it out for myself- until now! So, here's my first proper experience with grunge fashion...
Be Adventurous: Boho Chic
Bohemian fashion is one of the many styles I haven't explored or experienced before. I love scrolling through boho outfit inspiration on Pinterest but I have never attempted the style for myself. Knowing very little about it and it's history, I decided to research it and explore it for the first time...
Be adventurous: Vintage
There's nothing I love more than vintage clothes. Recycling and upcycling old clothes is a great hobby to take on, allowing you to build up a unique and quirky wardrobe.
Be Adventurous: Pastel Goth
A big part of fashion is experimenting with and exploring different styles. Being trendy and up to date with current fashion is great but creating your own style and wearing clothes you like (even though it might be out of fashion) is also important. I've decided to make a series of posts about exploring different types of styles that I have found and seen. In this post I try to pull of the pastel goth look.
