Planning Life Post-lockdown

With the end of the COVID-19 lockdown on the horizon, I feel it's time to talk about what I'm looking forward to when everything is (almost) back to normal. Regular, everyday life seems like a distant memory, but if we play our cards right, hopefully, normality will be just around the corner. Of course, our definition of normal may have to change to include social distancing and face masks but I think it'll be worth it...

A Realistic Look into my Life in Lockdown

Remember one of my previous posts (10 things to do in Self-isolation)? Is that really how I’m spending lockdown? Have I dressed up daily in my best vintage gear and devoured novel after novel? Or have my boyfriend and I, out of sheer boredom become your typical nosy neighbours, peeking out of the window to see what’s going on every 10 minutes? We’ve certainly got used to life inside our tiny flat, often wasting away days at a time doing nothing. When I found out about the "Curly Girl Method" it was like a glimmer of light at the end of a dark, dingy tunnel.

How the Lockdown is Affecting Students

As of today, it has been 51 days since the lockdown started in the UK. The days before it was announced were surreal, with an uneasy feeling hanging over our last few lectures as we knew we might not see each other for a while. Coronavirus has had an impact on everyone in different ways and most students are facing unique problems.

10 Things to do in Self-isolation

Self-isolation has been proven to be difficult but extremely vital for all of us in these strange times. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the UK and many other countries to go into lockdown, with shops closing and police breaking up gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus. This means that many of us can't see our friends and family or socialise like we are used to. So I came up with a few ideas on how to fill time in quarantine, whether you are self-isolating alone or with other household members.
