My Top Ten Favourite Disney Movies

As some of you may know from my social media posts, I adore Disney. I'm still a kid at heart- I enjoy nothing more than curling up under a blanket to watch a classic Disney film. My flat is adorned with Disney decor, from my upcycled Mickey and Minnie jar to our vintage Mickey Mouse rotary phone (that you can see in "My Lockdown Morning Routine" blog post). Anyone who has stepped foot in my flat can instantly tell that I'm a Disney fan. Yet, I haven't written a single post about my love for Disney movies- until now! I was inspired by a post by Coffee With Cerys and thought I'd write one of my own. So, here's a list of my favourite Disney movies and what I love about them...

My Favourite Small Businesses

Who loves handmade jewellery, accessories and decor? I know I do. I love scrolling through Etsy, discovering new and unique small businesses. Mainly, I look for jewellery and other accessories but I know there's plenty of clothing, furniture and more to browse. So I've decided to keep these as realistic and accessible for me as possible- especially if I want to achieve them all in one year. I don't have the budget to invest in a micro-fibre filter or completely off-set my carbon footprint and I don't have to do that to help the environment. If you're looking for inspiration to become more eco-conscious this year then you've come to the right place. So without further ado, here are my eco-friendly goals for 2021...

Exploring Upcycling: Making Something New out of Something Old

With all this free time on our hands, a lot of people have been busy making things and crafting to stay productive during the lockdown. As well as that a lot of us have been clearing out our cupboards of things we no longer use or need. However, not all of this should go to waste. For instance, my great aunt Irene has been making tote and shoulder bags out of recycled fabric. I try to upcycle when I can with the resources I have and I really think more people should give it a try as almost anything can be upcycled and it's often not as hard as you think. Here are some upcycling ideas that can be made from bits and bobs around you home...
